Why Gemini
Larger contract manufacturers are built for high volume, so a low volume or small batch job sits at the back of the queue. While we have the capacity to handle high volume needs, low volume manufacturing is our bread and butter.
You are a customer, not a rounding error
Designed, tooled and moulded in our own UK facilities. We do not subcontract the moulding out to Europe or the Far East, so provenance, quality and lead times stay in our hands.
Injection moulding, liquid silicone rubber, blow moulding, thermoforming, welding, assembly, finishing and tooling all run in the same building. One accountable team, no hand-offs between vendors.
We take on the niche and complex projects that high volume manufacturers turn away. Low volumes, awkward geometries, unusual materials and tight tolerances are the work we set up for every day, with the in-house engineering to make them repeatable.
How It Works
Turnkey manufacturing, from the first DFM review to parts on your dock. Here's how a project runs.
Get StartedSend a STEP or IGES file, a drawing or a sample, along with your material, annual volume and any compliance requirements. If you only have a concept, our in-house design office can develop it into a manufacturable part.
We run a design-for-manufacture and mouldability review, advise on material and the best moulding route, then confirm tooling cost, part price and a fixed lead time before any work begins. You talk to the engineers doing the work, not a sales desk.
Our tool room cuts your mould in P20 pre-toughened steel, single or multi-cavity to suit your volume. Tools are guaranteed for a minimum of 10,000 parts and maintained free of charge for as long as the tool stays with us.
We produce first-off samples for you to check against your drawing and sign off. Any adjustments to the tool or process are handled before we commit to the full run.
We mould, weld, assemble and finish to a supplied-ready standard under one ISO 9001 process, then hold your tool for scheduled repeat runs. Need to prove a design first? Start on the prototyping side →
