Overview
Gemini is a UK medical injection moulder, producing plastic parts and components for the medical, pharmaceutical and healthcare sector. We work from prototype through to production on the same site, so a part can move from first sample to full production without changing supplier.
We mould parts and components, not finished regulated devices. That makes us a manufacturing partner to device makers, diagnostics companies and healthcare suppliers who need medical injection moulding they can rely on and trace.

Why Gemini
ISO 9001 certified and JOSCAR registered, with Cyber Essentials certification. Quality systems are traceable, and every production run starts with an ISIR first-article inspection.
Our process does not rely on automated conveyor production, so each medical component is hand trimmed, checked and packed, which keeps quality consistent and defects caught early.
Alongside thermoplastic injection moulding, we run liquid silicone rubber in medical and FDA-approved silicones, with biocompatible grades for skin-contact and device parts.
We cut our own tools in-house, so medical tooling and moulding stay on one site with no overseas subcontracting and full control of the process.
Process
01
We take a full specification and agree a design and manufacturing plan.
02
A DFM review confirms the design, tooling approach and the right material for the part and its environment.
03
We produce prototypes for functional testing, and refine the design across revisions before committing to production tooling.
04
We cut the tool in-house and run an ISIR first-article inspection to verify the first parts against specification.
05
Parts are moulded to the agreed schedule, with visual inspection of every finished component.
Materials
We select the material to suit the part, its environment and any compliance requirement. Common choices include medical injection moulding in engineering thermoplastics such as polycarbonate, ABS, polypropylene and nylon, and medical-grade liquid silicone rubber in FDA-approved and biocompatible silicones for seals, skin-contact and fluid-path parts.
