“If only there was a magic ingredient that you could add to single use packaging to make it compostable without changing its physical properties”. Well there is. It’s called “Lifecycle”, developed here in the UK by London based technology company Polymateria.
Lifecycle is the world’s first fully recyclable and biodegradable plastic technology. The decomposition process can be delayed from several months to 3 years depending on the grade used. It is added in the form of a masterbatch at 2%. It is food safe, and environmentally friendly.
